You may also choose to experience Southeast Alaska’s famous Rose’s Bar and Grill, a watering hole that has provided the setting for many colorful, local tales. Pelican is situated on the northwest coast of Chichagof Island near some of the best fishing in Alaska. The Kruzof Explorer’s aluminum fishing tender is an ideal vessel to quickly transport interested guests to the fishing grounds. Keep your eyes peeled as you navigate near shore—brown bears are prevalent in the region.
