A native of the Pacific Northwest, Olivia had no shortage of the glorious outdoors growing up. The abundant mountains, lush forests, and beautiful beaches instilled a deep love of the natural environment—both in exploring and protecting it. An adventurer at heart, she took her studies overseas and canceled her flight home in favor of spending a year taking in Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia. Beginning in the remote Daintree Rainforest in North Queensland, Olivia fell in love with travel as she journeyed down the eastern coast of Australia with trips to New Zealand and Southeast Asia along the way. Camping under the stars where the rainforest meets the Great Barrier Reef, motor biking through the mountains in Northern Thailand, night swimming on New Zealand’s North Island, rock climbing in Halong Bay, and hiking Cradle Mountain in Tasmania are priceless memories. Her worldview forever changed by the cultures, people, and places she experienced, Olivia pursued a career in helping others experience the far reaches of our wonderful planet! When not planning expeditions, Olivia enjoys camping and hiking with her Australian Shepard, the vibrant Seattle music and arts scene, diving in the summer and snowboarding in the winter, and—of course—the delicious food of the Pacific Northwest!
