Why Visit Machu Picchu?
There is something magical and mystical about Machu Picchu. If you do not know much about this region of Peru, there is much to know. This mountain is part of the Urubamba Valley in Peru. It is located just northwest of the city of Cusco. The mountain and the region around it is the "los city of the Incas" in reference to the ancient people that lived in the region. The Inca Empire is perhaps one of the most well known in the South American continent. Today, the ruins of Machu Picchu are something of a historical wonder, and it has become one of the most important tourism attractions ever.
