Anyone looking for a sightseeing cruise of this area of the world [Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan] would be well advised to consider this trip! And, the Odyssey is my favorite of the small ships. It is beautiful and well laid out with all the amenities.

I would definitely recommend this trip to others. Southeast Asia can be difficult for tourists on their own. This shipping company gave us guided tours that showed us the best of each destination while the passengers could relax and enjoy it all.

The cabins on the Clipper Odyssey are lovely and spacious as compared with other small ships. And, the crew and staff are first rate! By the end of the trip, you feel as though you are saying good-bye to family.

It's hard to narrow it down to my favorite part of the trip, given the range of cultural and historic places we visited. Uwajima, Japan stands out as one of the highlights. We also enjoyed the local cuisine as often as possible and eating good food is always memorable!

The destinations were the key feature of the trip and were what inspired me to want to take this trip. I had not wanted to do a separate Vietnam-only trip and this itinerary gave me an opportunity to have a taste of Vietnam. Our brief time there was absolutely packed with activities. I was also interested in Taiwan. There are loads of trips to China, but Taiwan is often overlooked and it has treasures for the interested tourist. I was also anxious to see southern Japan with this shipping company because I had been on a different trip with them to the north and they showed us the highlights in an efficient and comfortable manner. I trusted that they would show us the best sights in the time allowed, and I am satisfied that they did!
