Itinerary
Day 1
Bali, Indonesia

The Indonesian island of Bali represents an oxymoron. The city center of Denpasar is crammed with hotels and tourist activity. It is renowned for its highly developed arts, including dance, sculpture, painting, leather, metalworking and music.
The countryside is picturesque incorporating rice paddies flooding the hillsides and volcanoes reaching to the skies. The rainforests are lush and tropical, and the beaches are washed by the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. The island is home to the vast majority of Indonesia's small Hindu minority.

Day 2
At Sea

Enjoy the time at sea to take advantage of onboard amenities, including a gym, Jacuzzi, library and sun deck.

Day 3
Jogjakarta / Borobudur

Semarang is one Java’s major ports and provides you access to Central Java. Visit the spectacular 9th century Mahayana Buddhist monument of Borobudur just outside of Jogjakarta.

This famous Buddhist monument serves as both a place of pilgrimage for Buddhists and a shrine to the lord Buddha. The six square platforms, layered one on top of the other, topped with a further three circular platforms are decorated with over 2,500 reliefs and over 50 statues. The top level has a large circular dome surrounded by 72 seated Buddha statues each inside an individual stupa. This UNESCO World Heritage listed monument is still used as a pilgrimage site today and is Indonesia.

Day 4
At Sea

Enjoy some relaxing time at sea while your naturalist guides offer lectures on this beautiful region.

Day 5 – 6
Tanjung Puting National Park, Kalimantan

Tanjung Puting is one of the natural wonders of the world! To make the most of this location, arrive early, and stay for two days and one night. The Park is best known for the orangutans and made famous through the efforts of Orangutan Foundation International, which is based at the landmark Camp Leakey research station.
There are two main activities to be enjoyed while at Tanjung Puting National Park. One activity involves taking local boats for a full-day exploration of the river system surrounding Camp Leakey and visits to several feeding stations and Camp Leakey itself. This area will give you the rare opportunity to get very close and interact with the orangutans. This will be a full-day activity including lunch based on the local boats, which are large and spacious and have their own bathroom onboard, and includes the landings at the feeding stations, which are all quite easy to reach on foot. The other activity on offer here at Tanjung Puting is a visit to the Orangutan Foundation International's Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. You will have an exclusive look into the operation of the center with all three stages of orangutan rehabilitation being visited; the forest training area, the "pre-school" and the infant care facility.

Day 7
At Sea

Continue to enjoy the luxurious amenities and time for relaxation.

Day 8 – 9
Pare Pare / Tana Toraja

With majestic panoramas, captivating villages and dramatic ceremonies, Tana Toraja is the undisputed highlight of any journey to Sulawesi. This unique culture, the scenic beauty, cool climate and gentle people make Toraja a must-see destination. This “Land of the Heavenly Kings” is home to an ethnic group which believes that their forefathers descended from heaven onto a mountain some 20 generations ago. They practice an ancestral cult based on animistic beliefs and are known for their grand cliff-side burial ceremonies and celebrate death and the afterlife with great feasts. “Tongkonan” (family houses) are built on stilts with roofs on each end rising like the prows of a ship, representing the cosmos.
