Overview: This 47-passenger vessel is a sturdy expedition ship, designed for active exploration in the Galápagos. The dining room and lounge feature full-height windows providing a beautiful panorama, and she carries a fleet of four Zodiacs for remote landings. The Islander offers a superior education program -- the naturalist guides and expedition leaders are some of the best in the Galapagos. She has a complete range of snorkeling gear including wetsuits as well as a Splash-Cam and video microscope. A video chronicler is also onboard shooting, editing, producing and duplicating a unique video / DVD of your trip. Cabin Description: All cabins include private facilities, and two of the category cabins feature outside terraces. All are above the waterline with outside facing windows, intership telephone, radio and climate controls.
