Overview: The 48-passenger Professor Molchanov and Multanovskiy, sister ships, were built in Finland in 1982-83 for polar and oceanographic research. The ships have been continually refurbished since their conversion for passenger use and are ideally suited for expedition cruising. Public areas include a lounge/bar, library, sauna, dining room, and infirmary. Views are excellent from the large open decks. These ships are relaxed and casual. Their trips feel more like a private expedition than a conventional cruise.
Cabin Description: Twin and triple cabins, with shared or private facilities. All cabins are outside cabins and have a desk, ample storage space and a window or porthole. Cabins are simple, more functional than fancy.
