A typical day aboard the Queen of Galapagos begins with a plentiful breakfast served onboard. Depart for onshore excursions in the morning to allow for a full day of fun. Depending on the island's topography, there is either a dry landing or wet landing (where passengers must exit the Zodiac boat in knee-deep water). Activities may include light hiking, time at leisure on the beach, a nature walk, or snorkeling off the beach and are new and exciting for each itinerary. Return to the Queen of Galapagos for lunch before departing on an afternoon excursion. Sea lions, sea turtles, blue- and red-footed boobies, and other endemic fauna are plentiful. After a day of exploration, return to the boat for a light snack with time for leisure before enjoying an excellent dinner. Onboard there is a large outdoor viewing area as well as an indoor lounge with a bar to create a communal environment to share in the days’ activities.
