Baltra Island

Embark the vessel, and settle, meet your Expedition Team and enjoy the first of many memorable meals on board.

Day 2 – 7
Exploring the Islands

Due to Galapagos Natural Park Regulations and in true expedition style the final itinerary for the expedition will be determined closer to the departure.

During the expedition you may have the opportunity to visit “Bird Island” home to over 70 bird species. Climb Prince Philip’s Steps through a thriving seabird colony. Observe sea lion families and the famed giant tortoises. Search for the endemic Galápagos barn owl. Walk across lava fields and watch for lava lizards. Admire the antics of red footed and blue footed boobies. Find corals on North Seymour Island. Explore natural lava tunnels and look for stalactites and stalagmites. Hike up the sides of an extinct volcano. See spectacular water-spouting blow-holes. Swim and snorkel in tranquil, clear waters. Photograph colorful marine iguanas and iconic Pinnacle Rock. Marvel at the fearless behavior of wildlife. Cruise by Zodiac along scenic coastlines. Learn about conservation efforts at the Charles Darwin Research Centre.

Day 8

Following breakfast, disembark the vessel and transfer to the airport for your return flight to the mainland.
