Itinerary
Day 1
Broome / Hunter River / Embark

Arrive in Broome and take a short flight to Hunter River to embark the expedition vessel. Once aboard, enjoy time to explore the ship and sip evening cocktails with fellow adventurers.

Day 2 – 3
Prince Regent River

First up this morning is one of the Kimberley’s most historic sites – Phillip Parker King’s boab tree. Then it’s on to the mighty Prince Regent River. The scenery will astound and the fishing will be lively as the ship graces this majestic river. At Kings Cascades, delight as the ship maneuvers right under the falls! Take a breathtaking helicopter flight (optional) to a picnic that you’ll never forget alongside a crystal clear billabong in one of the most remote places on earth. In the evening, anchor off of Camp Creek.

Early-risers can experience a heli-flight (optional) with a difference – champagne sunrise on top of a mountain! Later, hike to a rejuvenating swim in yet another picture perfect billabong. Explore by helicopter (optional) to fish secret billabongs. Everyone will find their own special place in the mighty Regent.

Day 4
Sale River / Montgomery Reef

Fish the mouth of the Sale River for barra and then join naturalists and adventurers alike as we ‘ride the tide’ on a classic river expedition. Enjoy a swim in a private billabong before returning to the ultimate comfort of the expedition vessel. In the afternoon, set sail for Montgomery Reef – a unique eco-system that must be seen to be believed – 140 square miles of coral reef rising out of the ocean right before your eyes! Watch water cascade from the reef as the tide falls exposing a privileged glimpse of another world. Turtles, dugong, manta rays and sea creatures abound and an optional helicopter ride can give you a bird’s eye view!

Day 5
Ruby Falls / Raft Point

Start the day with a morning fish followed by a refreshing swim at Ruby Falls. Take a short lunchtime cruise to the impressive silhouette of Raft Point. Enjoy a moderate climb to an art gallery with a difference – the well-preserved Raft Point Wandjina paintings.

Day 6
Horizontal Falls / Crocodile Creek

Experience the awesome power of the region’s huge tidal range on a journey through Horizontal Falls giving another chance for an air-conditioned helicopter ride (optional) over the falls! Enjoy a swim at Crocodile Creek and a walk on Silica Beach. Wrap up the wonderful adventure with a farewell dinner as the ship sails past Cockatoo and Koolan Islands, Cape Leveque and down the Dampier Peninsula to Broome.

Day 7
Broome / Disembark

Arrive in Broome and disembark the vessel. Transfer by coach to accommodation or airport.
