"Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go" (T.S. Eliot). Joshua’s interest in seeing ‘how far one can go’ was sparked as a young boy, gazing at old mining maps of Europe, while growing up on his family farm in Western Washington. It wasn’t until his first trip abroad (a 2-month expedition to Thailand) that the travel bug had become permanently ignited. Since then, he has been globe-trotting on a long series of one-way tickets. He has 8 years of experience traveling, living, and working throughout Asia, Europe, and Latin America—including a one-month exploration of the Galápagos Islands, where he discovered the joys of swimming with the playful sea lions. Taking only photographs as souvenirs, he has thoroughly explored more than 30 countries and yet feels that he has barely seen the tip of the iceberg. A Scuba Divemaster and avid ‘adventourist’, Joshua’s curiosity drives him to everything from encountering far away cultures, to observing bizarre wildlife, to photographing some of nature’s most pristine landscapes. With an abundance of enthusiasm for travel, he is eager to help others enjoy similar voyages as he has encountered while exploring this awe-inspiring planet! También, se habla Español.
