Jennie discovered a love of travel and the outdoors from an early age during family trips to the Oregon Coast and National Parks such as Yellowstone and Yosemite. While earning a degree in Biology, she spent a summer in Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands living with host families and studying the environment.  Hooked on travel, shortly after returning from South America, she ventured out again to learn more about other cultures and our planet's amazing biodiversity. Following her dream, she finished her studies in Australia; working, living and travelling throughout the country for the next 6 years, including a year in New Zealand. Happy to now call West Seattle home, she enjoys utilizing her background in research and a keen eye for detail to keep the ExpeditionTrips’ website fresh and accessible for clients to discover trips of a lifetime.  Outside of work, she takes joy in playing music, cross-country skiing and continuing to follow her travel dreams.
